• I think Cindy is one of the best trainers I have ever seen. Even though my dog was enrolled in a class with someone else my dog would not listen after she left class. I hired Cindy and she came to where I was having issues to address the problem. Mia has developed into a confident partner with me. She can now be off leash wherever I take her. I get so many compliments on how well behaved she is. I now have a dog that will not approach another dog or person unless I give her permission to even while off leash. I can not say enough about what a great trainer Cindy is in my mind she is a definition of a dog whisperer

  • Our German Shepherd, Chloe, is now a little over two years old. Chloe stayed with her Mama for 12 weeks, and even though she graduated training at PetSmart (barely), she was beyond stubborn and we found it overwhelming. I ran into Cindy by chance at the Saratoga Animal Shelter. I was dropping off a stray cat we found, and Cindy was at the Shelter volunteering with the dogs, to help them transition to adoptive homes. Seeing our young Chloe, Cindy approached and a conversation began. She knew exactly what issues we were having and immediately began providing suggestions and demonstrations on the spot of training techniques with Chloe. Like the "Dog Whisperer" she truly is, Chloe responded to Cindy right away. I was stunned!

We began taking weekly classes with Cindy in a group setting in Ballston Spa.   Each dog and owner Cindy worked with responded to her immediately, and the information was so eye opening.  It really made sense.  Cindy always had time to address individual hurdles and to answer everyone's many questions.  She would also give of her time after class to work one on one.  Her love, comfort level, understanding, and comprehension of dogs is remarkable.  Cindy easily and effectively gets through to each owner providing direction, as well as corrective action for our implementation of the techniques taught.  She enables everyone to develop and maintain safe, enjoyable furry family members.  Thanks to Cindy- Chloe is my daily companion, and a pleasure in our home.  I have PTSD and Chloe's attentiveness and reactions to me have been a God-send.  Cindy provided the knowledge, gradual learning goals, and courage for the Chloe and I to share our bond.

Our chance meeting turned into an astonishing blessing.  Cindy's clear communication style, sincere compassionate concern, and history of results are simply beyond impressive.  I believe in my heart that Cindy Broz possesses a gift, and was meant to be doing what she does so well- making a difference in the lives of dogs as well as their owners and their families.to each owner providing direction, as well as corrective action for our implementation of the techniques taught.

  •      Great place! Our pup comes home everyday tired and happy! Two things that show GFK9 is on top of their game! Couldn't be more happy with them and the service they provide. It is about time Glens Falls and the area had a place like this for dogs that is top notch! Now if we can only get a dog park in the area we would be all set! Thanks GFK9!

  • I toured your facility yesterday, we are thinking of putting our puppy in training. Your trainer was not only knowledgeable, but put to rest my concerns of keeping my pup a pup not a robot. We then toured this very impressive facility with Mike the owner. The boarding rooms alone are massive, the care and concern for every animal went into making these rooms perfect. The doggy daycare program, WOW!!!!! I will be sending my pup there instead of being placed in a crate when we are ...away for the day. Then he showed us the doggy locker room, this is where they place all the food, treats and stuff your pup came in with. Every dog has his or her special sheet, it says if they take meds. how much food, when they get what treat.. Every facet is tailored to your dog's needs and wants. They have a groomer on site. This place has everything a dog or owner would want in a facility.. Glens Falls needed this. Great job to Mike and his staff. You have my business, would totally recommend GFK9 to everyone.

  • Theses pups are well taken care of. Our dog comes home exhausted from playing all day and sleeps all night. It's wonderful for pups who are left home all day with anxiety. I also love the fact that they take pictures and post them here on Facebook for us to see. 5 STARS from me.

Mike--

We were able to take Willow and Ryder walking in downtown Saratoga Springs. We have taken them on several walking trails in Glens Falls, Moreau, and Hudson Falls, with bicycles, other dogs, and joggers, as well as walkers, and a couple people even commented on how well-behaved our dogs were. We never thought we'd hear that!

Just wanted to let you know how well the training is going and that we're glad we decided to choose Cindy at GFK9 for the training. We had tried other trainers in the past without much success, but Cindy knows what she's doing.

Best,

: Cindy is AMAZING. My dog, Dubby and I took both the basic and advanced class series with her. Dubby started out as a (typical) rowdy Russell Terrier, high energy, seemingly everywhere at once, including while walking. All I wanted at first was to get him to a more manageable level. Now he's a changed dog (well, sort of -- the Russell terrier spunk and occasional obstinence is still there, but that comes with the breed--I wasn't looking to break his natural spirit).

Cindy knows dogs. It's so impressive. She can read the reasons why a dog may not listen, or is reactive or aggressive with other dogs, and she will find a solution.

In the training sessions, she breaks every skill down into small bites that are manageable for both the dog and the owner. Before you know it, you're combining those small bites into a whole sandwich and feeling amazed that YOUR dog has come so far! At the first class of the advanced program, she had a lab from a previous advanced series demonstrate what our dogs should be able to do by the end of the classes. I said, no way Dubby will be able to do that much OFF LEASH! Once again, we did it in little bites, and by the end of class he was doing the off leash routine! She also took the class to a new level when she had us walk the dogs to a park several blocks away and, with distractions all around us, perform their new skills.

She also has come to my home twice, once because I was having trouble walking him -- I knew I was doing something wrong but couldn't figure out what. Then a second time, just this week, when Dubby and a neighboring dog tried to walk together and ended up trying to fight. We worked with the owner, her dog, and Dubby with me, and by the end of our session they were walking together calmly. We're going to take it to another level later this week when we have both dogs unleashed in a fenced yard.

I can't say it enough times. Cindy is amazing!
